The Linedancer Magazine Crystal Boot Awards took places at the end of last month in Blackpool.

There were 14 awards up for grabs at this years event, including the coveted “Dance Of The Year”.

The dance of the year went to Craig Bennett for ‘Playing With Fire’ and Robbie McGowan was inducted into the Linedance Hall Of Fame.

Finally, here is the full list of winners from the event :-

We’re approaching the first weekend of the new month so  that means it’s that time again when the monthly line dance chart is counted down on UK Country Radio.com

Presented by Alan Perkins, the chart show airs as normal at 8pm on the first Friday of the month,4th February 2011 however, in case you can’t make that time, it is repeated the very next day, Saturday 5th January at 5pm.

This show not only counts down the latest country line dances that are popular across the country but also highlights some of the upcoming ‘hot’ new dances that we will most likely be dancing over the coming weeks and months.
